Health Insurance, Is It Better To Deal Direct Or Go Through Something Like EHealthinsurance.com???

I've been driving myself mad looking for form insurance, which I REALLY need to do. I want the best and affordable deal but struggling with the theme: Do I call the insurance company direct, or should I get a policy online from the MANY companies that give you a quick quote on several discrete carriers??? Anyone have any suggestions? My worry is that if I go through a website vs dealing direct with let's neutral say Blue Cross, that I will have to pay additional fees, possibly like a middleman fee or something like that. Any good advice is appreciated, or even if you can recommend a company. Yes, I recognize the easiest thing to do would be to just call the company or broker and ask, but I refuse to be kept on the phone by a sales themselves unless I have to. HELP!!!

Heard Of An Auto Insurance Company Called DIRECT?

The assembly in Raleigh, NC tried to charge me 26% interest for "low monthly payments", slipped $400 value of unwanted "options" and wouldn't give me my check back when I told them I didn't indigence to do business with them. Even though I didn't sign the contracts, they deposited my check and applied for an insurance scheme in my name. They called the police on me when I went back to demand my money. The police government agent told me to report them to the North Carolina Attorney General. I did and at the end of the day got all my money back. Just want to know if anyone else has had a bad experience with this company?

Individuals must use after tax dollars to buy vigorousness insurance if their employer doesn’t provide it. The employer receives favorable tax treatment. Let’s even up that for the individual. I also want to allow for cross state purchases. You can buy car insurance across state of affairs lines, you should be able to buy health insurance. We should allow small companies to ripen associations, pull together and reach across state lines to dig the same kind of discounts large and small companies the time of one's life through self insurance models.
