Pellissippi Shape seeks new facility for welder training - Pellissippi Asseverate Community College is looking for a new site to meet the needs of its welder training program. The college recently began soliciting proposals for a nadir of 1,680 square feet of space. About 1,200 on the up feet will be for training, and the rest will be for a classroom. The proposed unearthing may be in Blount or Knox County. Blount County Scoff Pantry Drive During the month of October, Music Row Antiques will be collecting non-perishable victuals items to benefit the Blount County Food Pantry. A barrel for donations will be located upstanding inside the door.

The Blount County Food Pantry has been serving to feed families in Blount County since 1983. During the month of August, the pantry provided 2,264 cans of bread to Blount County residents in need. The pantry is located in the former Alnwick Secondary. The hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. All applicants are screened through Blount County Community Fray.
