please can you confess me how much tax, percentage wise is taken from wages in england in the lower tax band and the same for national insurance, what interest is taken for that and is the national insurance percentage taken after the tax or before. Also, how much do you have to earn in england to go onto the higher tax band please. Dialect expect you can help as this would really help me make my mind up about whether to take a job on or not. Higher band is something like 34600 above your fundamental allowance and you go to 40% at that point but NI contributions drop off.
have to merit £35K + to go into higher tax's. This was when my dad was working about 10 years back though think it is 40k now

I believe its somewhere in the region of 10 - 20%
so if your gross wage was £300 a week you would probably get taxed about 40-50 quid a week. and that includes NI

Why do people rebuttal questions on here when they are only guessing?
The first £6035 of your incoem is tax free. the next £36,500 is taxed at 20% and the trestle at 40%.
The first £97 pw of your pay is free of NIC. The rest is charged at 11%.

I don't by oneself know the tax bands etc but I do know that not many Italians are 100% honest on their tax forms.
It is a national hobby to avoid as much tax as possible, so maybe you need to speak to a friendly Italian for a bit of par.
