Does A Motorcycle Accident Affect My Driving Record Or Car Insurance Rates?
Oct 22, 2008 by Brian H | Posted in Insurance & Registration
Haven't had a car accident in over 10 years, but I did have a slop on my bike ruled my fault recently. Will this affect my car insurance at all? It hasn't yet, but I'm about to switch insurance companies and get a new car. I also no longer have a motorcycle.
Oh, I should add that this happened longer ago than I hope. Back in January. My car insurance has NOT gone up. I'm just worried that shopping for NEW insurance they'll see it and it will affect things.
There are tons of sites where you can get a loosely insurance quote. http://www.goodinternetdeals.com/Auto-In surance.html It only takes less than 10 minutes to do.
It will if it is on your driving compact disc or if you reported it to your insurance company. I have had the same insurance company for the last 18 years and just had a very insignificant claim ~1500 and my rates went up $600 a year.
Hope it works out for you

Most probably it will. There's always the possibility that it won't.
Hope you didn't get too hurt. Be careful out there.

Hello
Yes it does, when you applied for the motor Car insurance it would have asked if you had been convoluted or claimed in the last 5 years? ?I t did not specify with motor cars. If you had Car and Bike insurance ceaseless at the same time then you should have notified both insurance companies, You say you were found to be ar fault? If this mans the other person claimed on your insurance but You did not then you still should have notified both insurance companies.
Insolvency to notify them will null and void your insurance if they find out.

How Long Do Car Accidents Affect My Insurance Rates?
Nov 05, 2008 by crizzy u | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I have heard that accidents and tickets will agitate car insurance rates for five years. I was in an accident four years ago, that was determined to be my fault. Now, my (old) insurance company just settled this request. Is this going to affect my rates for five years from the settlement date or from the date of the accident?
crizzy u, I stand up for an online insurance quote. It's free and quick to do. http://www.autoadviceonline.com/Auto-Ins urance-Reproduce.html
Although the culture affecting your premium varies from insurer to another, it is usually three years; and the effects tkes hamlet from the time the body shop claims the payment for the repair to your car.
