It's a backpacker insurance but states it's for a fasten on trip. Would I be able to travel to more than one country after leaving home with this type of insurance? Or will I emergency a multi-trip insurance?
I'm 99% firm that travel insurance covers you from your departure date, to you arrival back in your home diocese.
If not, just call the company that your insurance is with. They'll tell you exactly what it covers.

I consent with Lily. A trip is a trip regardless of how many flights, train rides etc that you take.
Watch out though flying on a Tommy Atkins plane may not be covered.

segregate trip is if you go away once, annual covers you over a year for lots of trips (if you go on break regularly)
