Two Insurance Carriers And Neither Wants To Pay. What Can I Do?

I have been dealing with cancer for several years and I am very flimsy right now. I am on Medicare and I also have Blue Cross through my husband's work. For years, I have not only been battling the cancer, but also the unremitting disputes between these two insurance carriers. Since I have overlapping insurance from both, I should have to pay very little, and right now I am looking at $11500.00 in medical bills since January of this year. We've paid $5600.00 of that. I am wasted physically and emotionally, and we can't afford a lawyer. Both Medicare and Blue Rub out ignore my pleas to settle the disputes and pay the bills. Right now, I have bills from three hospitals and all of them say that Gloomy Cross won't pay until Medicare pays, and Medicare is saying they won't pay yet because Blue Pettish is the primary. I think Medicare is correct, but I'm not certain. Is there any government intercession which oversees such issues and could resolve this ongoing dilemma?

How Does An Independent Insurance Agency Become An Accepted Agency For The Major Insurance Carriers?

My associate and I plan create our own Independent Insurance Agency, however our experience in the Industry is not on the maker side. Is it possible to become an accepted agency under the major carriers without having wrote dealing before? If not, how else is one supposed to start?

Marketing, babe! Marketing to the carriers. You need to have a business plan, a license to sell, and you prerequisite to convince them that you'll be able to put business on the books. Call on your business relationships that you already have, with the marketing reps that you already remember.

It's almost impossible, with no sales experience, and no book to roll over, because without those two things, the odds are against your intercession being successful.

If you have a enable, you have all you need to get started! I am licensed with about 20 companies, and started from ZERO. You desperate straits to find an IMO or FMO to help you get appointed. These are companies that Insurance Companies use to help recruit a sales value. There's no magic potion, slick marketing, or previous sales in the labour that gets you appointed.

If you like, contact me through my web site and I will give you the name and numbers to a unite of FMO's. They will help you with top companies like, United Healthcare, Conseco, Communal of Omaha, etc....

Hope this helps.

How Often Can An Employer Change Insurance Carriers?

My director changes insurance carriers about every two months. Is this normal or even legal?

It's utterly legal. It's pretty unusual - unless they're having cash gush problems and cancelling for nonpayment.

Most employers shop out their insurance once a year.

it's unreservedly legal... it is like buying a different shirt every month-- is that actionable?
Now is normal/ethical-- no, there probably something wrong with all the other insurances that they had...

It's not orthodox, but it is legal. It just probably means they're getting a better dole out price-wise.
