I've had their rite for a year and it's perfect for me, but my phone was stolen. I'm ok with buying a new phone, but what if it's stolen again? I'd quite like equipment insurance.
Virgin Mobile dont because they are fair-minded a network. The shop you bought it from might.
If you bought it direct, check in their pile up or on their website as they may work with a company that offers insurance.
If not, Endsleigh offer contrastive types of insurance, maybe for mobiles, or possible Allianz.
EDIT: There is in point of fact an article here with advice - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insuran ce/cheap-mobile-phone-insurance

Virgin Mobile USA phones, unfortunately do not extend insurance on their phones. However, if your phone is lost or stolen, Virgin Mobile offers refurbished phones for half the rate of new ones. If you have a phone with a lot of downloads on it, you may want to watch it extra carefully because Virgin Mobile will not refund you on the downloads =(
Aspire this helps =)

I Have A T-Mobile Blackberry - With Insurance Coverage For Lost Or Damaged Equipment - Tips Please?
Apr 01, 2008 by Tina H | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I difficulty to know if it is better to say that I just lost the device (it is working but the gem ball jams all the time (and yes, I tried all the tricks - does not line). I would have to pay $100 either way.
Do not say you out of the window it, you'll have to pay the 100 dollar fee. Since the phone is malfunctioning, just go to a T-Mobile store, show them the question and the will have a new one sent to you free of charge. I find going into the store is more convenient, because they usuall gesture the shipping costs.
If you call customer care, they may wave the shipping fee too since the phone is messing up.
They will send it in the post, and then you simply send your old one back to them in the box provided.
I have already been through 4 BBs. First time I lost my phone and had to pay the 100 dollars, but the next three times the phone malfunctioned and they sent me a new one unrestrained of charge.
Say YOU Irremediable it. Or else, they will tell you to send it to them.
Trust me I know about this.
Because my friend lies to his insurance convention all the time and he got like 3 new blackberrys LOL

What Does Travelers Inusrance Notice To Policyholders Entitled "Mobile Equipment Redefined Etc" CG D3 56 Mean?
Aug 25, 2007 by ttibbar | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I cannot find anything on the internet and sagacious insurance company's this is probably important. The full notice reads like this:
Mobile Equipment redefined Lockout of vehicles subject to motor vehicle laws.
It goes on to say this is not an forth but intended to make you aware of certain coverage changes to yur scheme if we renew it.
Does anyone know what this means?
It sounds like at the renewal of your behaviour, they are making a change to your policy regarding mobile equipment. Without reading exactly what it says, I can't dictate that you what it means. Call the agent you bought the policy from, they will be able to tell you, or they can find out.
