Jan 03, 2009 by michalblystone | Posted in Other - United States
In two years i am impelling to the Leadville area in Colorado from Latrobe Pennsylvania. I'm moving for college purposes but intend on staying there for a long time. Is there any suggestions people have:? Maybe some customs shock i should be aware of? Laws that are different? Pet info? Auto ownership/driving/auto insurance laws? Ways to fulfil people? things to do? Anything is welcome concerning my move.
Elegance shock, no.
Do be aware that Leadville is at 9,000 feet elevation. You may very well get altitude sickness your first few weeks here. Sip alot of water, avoid alcohol, and get alot of rest at first.

As I know from friends of mine in Pa, you can be drinking in a car, as long as you're not the driver. DON'T count on that in Colorado.

Why do so many people of that moving to another state is going to be some huge shock? It's not like you're effective to Mars. Life will be pretty much the same, with perhaps some minor differences, the largest one (altitude) having already been addressed.

New Jersey Auto Insurance Law?
Oct 24, 2009 by crappa | Posted in Insurance & Registration
If someone moves from NJ to PA and they get a new auto insurance method because they previously were on their parents policy do you have to provide your new ins info to the old company?
autoinsurance.bebto.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I be aware, they can provide such a service.
Unwavering, you need to inform the old company, to let them know that they're not insuring you any longer. No coherence paying for insurance that you don't have any longer!

Are PA drivers required to proceed auto insurance if they are driving someone else's car? Links to prove of any laws would be appreciated!

Vehicles are insured, not drivers. If you make an insured car with permission and have a valid drivers license, (with rare exceptions) you will be covered

To enthusiasm a vehicle, you must be covered by insurance. Do not believe that all insurance companies cover anyone driving the insured mechanism. Many/most require drivers to be listed on the policy in order to be covered. I have Majestic Farm and (by request) no one under 25 or unmarried can drive either of my vehicles. This lowers the dividend rates.

most insurance policies take over another driver IF they have the owners permission, but not all companies do this
if you are not going to have a car and don't have regular access to one you can get a "Named/NonOwned" behaviour that will cover you while driving any vehicle...just call any agency and ask for a quote
