I upstanding want pharmacy insurance, but I can't find a place to request a quote on Cigna's website. Do they only make plans through employers?
They don't put in black directly. If you want a Cigna plan, you'll have to find a Cigna agent, and sign up through them.

Looks like they don't peddle just the RX plan. It is included (or not-if you choose) in the health coverage, but not as a back alone product.

Cigna is introducing peculiar medical insurance in some states through medical insurance agents. Here in Connecticut it is just birth to be available.
Their individual plan, as is the case with most other individual medical insurance, is subdue to a review of a persons medical history. If a person was taking medication for an on customary medical condition this would often result in not being accepted.
What to do? Suggest looking at this position:

Provides information on programs, usually connected to proceeds. to help people with medication expenses.
Good luck.

Why Do Insurance Companies Make You Take Medicare?
Aug 22, 2009 by hiztreebuff | Posted in Government
I have tried unsuccessfully to get a refer to for individual health insurance from Aetna, Humana and Cigna. I want a quote for my aunt who is 66 and needs haleness insurance. They will only give me quotes for supplemental to Medicare. Why does she HAVE to take Medicare? Why won't they let her pay for insurance?
you started in the illicit office; Social Security takes the monthly fee for Medicare Salubriousness Insurance directly out of your aunt's monthly Social Security Retirement charges, about $100 for most folks.
Unless you terminated the Medicare coverage, every insurance coterie is only going to quote you the price for supplemental coverage. Medicare is the Cardinal Insurer, they pay first, other insurance would be 'supplemental'. You really don't want to terminate the Medicare coverage, there are recondite penalties to re-enroll.
The premium for Medicare Insurance from Soc Sec is very reasonable ( $100 vs $500 or more ) compared to those who have not yet become suitable for Medicare; that's why you hear so many Seniors saying 'Leave My Medicare alone', it is very well-grounded. It does not however, pay the full amount for care and that 'deductible' amount can run into thousands of dollars out of pocket, if you don't have the Supplemental Strategy.
So, If you really want your aunt to not have Medicare, cancel it and prove to the insurance companies that she is canceled, then they will reference you the full price for a health care policy.
Good Luck and Emphasize Money!
Because insurance companies only prerequisite to insure healthy people and unload old, more likely to be sick onto Medicare. maximizing their profit and screwing the game plan holders and tax payers.

It is much cheaper for an insurance proprietorship to be secondary coverage to Medicare. Again, profit is their bottom line, not health nurse.

Insurance companies are blood sucking vampires! They about that your aunt will be too old and a liability. Well duh! That is why she needs insurance, right? Why get it if you don't need it. They just in need of you to pay and not get any services! Ugh! They make me so mad!
My husband and I are trying to get fire insurance for a house that we are going to buy. Many insurances are saying that they will not insure us because we are too mean to the hills! Well that is why we need the insurance! WTF? Why would I buy it if I didn't need it! Blood suckers!

Because the regime requires that all retired people on social security be on Medicare. Then the management can take out their premium payment from their social security check.
