Prevalent to America to visit my sister and was told I could drive down to their boat to make some appurtenance money doing some maintenance. Just wondering how much insurance would cost on the 2 cars for about 2 weeks.
The confrere in law has 2 Porsche's one new, one old so I'm more likely to be given the Porsche, but the sister has an X5 and I'm sure it'd be cheaper to insure me on that in America.
In inside info would I even be able to get insurance on either of these cars being 18 and a UK national?!

I like to point the way my ?'s to the USA but think I should change today because I think Canada is economically daft to too. They to have a silver spoon stuck in the world is a wealth place to explosive. eg. is someone train suicidal people to drive boats into USA naval ships and then a big planes into construction , collects some life insurance policies and then get the World to help them kill off the inconsequential people of Afganistan because people have to borrow money and they can't afford to stamp the money to educate or provide the people with a higher quality of last then they had. I the interest of the of people that like to drink alcohal that is poison free they should legalize it. I deep down think that after you become wealth you turn into a idiot. Like the year 2025 will more people die then are born and you will not have to mooch money to buy a house. Hitlers's revenge.

I currently have a US Drivers certify, and a car, with insurance. I am about to sell my car, and will be cruising on my boat, returning to the USA several times a year, and when necessary will tear a car. BUT since I will not have auto insurance with my current car - what are the LEGAL minimum insurance options I need for a rental car - and is there any way to attain that outside of the rental company? I don't fancy paying $30 a day for insurance... But I don't long for to break the law of find problems in the event of an accident
Rental companies are normally self insured for obligation - what you buy from them is a physical damage waiver that keeps YOU from being held up for damages to the rental car.
There is SOME coverage on your outstanding credit cards - so, keep that in mind as well!

You should talk to your legate before dropping your insurance. I can't see a way for you to crack this nut though. You can purchase what is called a "named non-holder" policy but it would only cover you for BI/PD and first party benefits. The rental following will want you to have coverage for damage to their vehicle which I don't believe is offered on a "non-proprietor" policy. You just might need to purchase the rental proprietorship's insurance to protect yourself.
