Latest hurricane-related insurance suits filed in Jefferson County
A add up to of six new lawsuits against insurance companies regarding hurricane damage claims have been filed in Jefferson County Locality Court, Nov. 23-Dec. 4, 2009.
The following lawsuits were filed:
Mary Edwards of 1321 Gulfway Keenness in Port Arthur claims Texas Windstorm Insurance Confederation denied her claim for roof, water, wind, raison d'etre and structural damages caused to her property after Hurricane Ike struck on Sept. 13, 2008. TWIA denied the upon after its Vice President of Claims Reggie Warren assigned All-Tech Claims Direction and adjusters Ken Colestock, Jacob Crowley and Rhett Lee to sift through. Edwards will be represented by Gregory F. Cox of The Mostyn Law Firm in Beaumont. Jefferson County Locality Court case number: A185-400.
Alicia Pedraza has filed fit against Fire Insurance Exchange, alleging the defendant insurance company has denied at least a portion of the plaintiff's Cyclone Ike claim. The plaintiff
