■ Retired Division Court Judge Jack E. Klass recently joined the cartel of Brinkley Walser P.L.L.C. in an ‘of counsel' position. In 1994, he was appointed a territory court judge for the 22nd Judicial District where he served until he retired in 2001.

■ Dr. Eugene R. Bleecker has been appointed the professor of genomics and individualized medicine and the director of the Center for Genomics and Personalized Cure-all Research at Wake Forest University Health Sciences and Wake Forest University Kindergarten of Medicine.

■ Nick Needham , formerly of Winston-Salem, has joined the employees of The Fayetteville Observer, covering the night police fashion.
