What Action Acn I Take If The Quality Of Repair Work On My Car,following An Accident, Is Unsatisfactory? |
Initially it took 2 weeks to restoration the side damage to my car. On collection it was soon clear that it was not to a good standard. The insurance body insisted that the garage should have the opportunity to put things right. The car was in the garage for another week but the travail was still unsatisfactory. I will not go back to the original garage. What can I do? Does any organisation inspect the dignity of the repair as I am also concerned the garage may not have repaired the car as asked?
Unless the insurance retinue offers some type of direct repair program and this shop was on it....there is nothing they can do to facilitate you. They will only pay for the repairs once. If the shop is not on a direct repair list with the insurance company, the insurance followers has absolutely no influence with the shop.
If the shop is part of a direct repair network with your insurance concern, that means the insurance company will guarantee the repairs. It also means that they can threaten to do in the shop from the direct repair network.
At that point, it becomes an issue between you and the masses shop. I suggest you take your car to the shop and have a meeting with the body shop head and see what the two of you can work out.

If a shop does poor work...they lose business. If they do credible work, they are slammed...even when every other shop is begging for work.

Refused to take the car back until all the repairs were completed to your indemnity or asked your insurance company or a independent motoring organisation to inspect the calling for you
