When Changing Auto Insurance Company, Do They Ask Me To Go Through Inspection On My Vehicle? |
May 17, 2007 by Daivd Y | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I'm thinking about changing my auto insurance business soon. I'll probably go to online to get a quote and the insurance.
When I looked through all the questions they ask for the extract, I noticed that they ask if there are any damages on the vehicles.
(There are few scratches here and there on my vehicle.)
If I answer that there are, they would ask me how did it get them and disburden oneself me that I should report those accidents.
But I don't want to report and I don't even want to fix them.
Therefore, I know it's an salacious act but I want to answer that there aren't any damages.
So here comes my question,
After the applications and all, do the insurance actors ask the driver to go through the auto inspection?
If you essential or want collision coverage, they will ask for photos of the vehicle from both sides linear on, front and rear straight on and three-quarter views from every corner. Therefore, you're better off influential them about any damage on the car. That way, they protect themselves from spurious claims for pre-existing damage.

It depends , if your getting FULL coverage they will requisite an inspection , if your getting liability they wont care , since they arent insuring the car , only you.

I lawful put full coverage on a new vehicle i purchased and only had liability on the previous car. They did not ask for pix of the new car, but this is through the same ins. co. It all depends on what they're policies are.

Can I Renew My NJ Auto Registration & Insurance Without An Emissions Inspection? Consequences? |
Jun 04, 2008 by hermione98765 | Posted in Insurance & Registration
Anyone identify if it's possible to renew a car registration & insurance in NJ without an emissions inspection? My cousin is taking his dad's car to California (yes 3000 miles) for college, and won't be back until he graduates, which should be 4 years. Undeniable, there's no way to get the car inspected every 2 years, short of shipping it back (and that they won't do). They do not want to along the car registration to California, if possible.
So...anyone know if it's possible to keep renewing registration and insurance without dying emissions?
Also, will insurance still pay if the son gets in an accident in CA with an expired emissions sticker?
When they're eager to bring the car back, I think you can get a letter from the DMV to drive for inspection only, so that's covered.
Please note -- this is a Momentary move -- my cousin is going there for undergrad college. He is not moving there endlessly. It is also not his car - it's my uncle's.
I should clarify -- the car is not available for ANY inspection in NJ, since it'll be in California for 4 years while my cousin goes to UC.
Yes and no, because emissions is part of your inspection. If your car has passed inspection, you can journal it. But sooner or later it will not pass inspection if you have an emissions problem.
Just get it fastened. And register the thing in CA.

Carry the registration to Cali. Why bother with NJ.
Besides it is required by law - if you plan to live and whirl the car in Cali - it has to be registered there. The Cali DMV makes tons of money this way.
Fair Luck...

Inspection From The Insurance Company In Toronto? |
Nov 21, 2008 by romance7895 | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I am buying an insurance from belair tactless insurance company. They were saying that I need to go get the inspection from nominated auto shop. In the quote, I wrote no modification but my old china told me that my car was lowered and has custom spring on it. Is the inspection for checking those modification make a pig? Am I going to be ok to buy their insurance like this? Many thanks in advance!!
These inspections are on the whole to see if there is any preexisting damage, however if a modification is readily apparent then it will go down on the inspection. Custom springs wouldn't be speedily apparent. As for lowering it would depend on how far the vehicle was lowered.

Add the bacon & your ample to go. In the Good old U S of A when you buy insurance for a used car you usually have to take the car to a facility to have the car photographed. In this state NY It is a plc called "CarCo"They take photo's of all 4 sides of the means. If you chose not to go they cancel your policy. I'm not sure If your modifications are dealt with as the crow flies but they will certainly be seen on the photo's. Hope this is what you are referring to.
