My also pen-friend gave me a car as a gift, and I don't have the money to insure it right now. My friend already trace the car over to me, how can i get a new title in my name with out the auto insurance?
You can get a new title in your name without insurance. You will for to have insurance when you register the vehicle. Just owning the vehicle & leaving it parked (off the procedure if you do not have plates or insurance) does not mean you have to have insurance on it. DO NOT drive it until you have plates and insurance on it.

If your splendour requires insurance to title a vehicle, then you will need to at least, begin the policy, then cancel it after you have received the title. Most states privation to see proof of insurance when you purchase the tabs/registration, not to title the car only. Also, for the sales tax portion of the bring, you will probably need a statement from your friend that the car is a gift, and that sales tax was in days gone by paid. Some states require this to be notorized, some not.

In PA... I transferred a car to my name w/out getting insurance.. I can't campaign it until I do, but I'm not using it yet, so they transferred it to a "Non-Operational" status...
Then when I after to go drive the car, I get the insurance and registration...
All varies for each state... Good Destiny!
i dont believe one has anything to do with the other. i have a car that is reg. to myself and my ex but the insurance is in my name only. our state, you dont have to have insurance. not all states require you to have insurance. those are two separate things.

If your governmental requires insurance, whether the vehicle is driven or not, you won't be able to. If you make a statement that the mechanism doesn't run, you may be able to receive a waiver. Not all states require able to withstand of insurance when you are titling a car, inquire with your local DMV, to be certain.

My confessor just purchased a car in his name that I will be driving and paying for.
I am an adult not living with him.
I was told that I would neediness to be on the title in order to get insurance coverage for this vehicle.

You do not need to get insurance for the conveyance. It's your father's car, he needs to get insurance. The policy needs to list you as an authorized driver since you will be the instruct operator of the vehicle.
I'm mellifluous sure your father's insurance company will, for a price, put you on the insurance policy as a covered driver of this means. My daughter has our car out of state and she is on our policy but her name is not on the title. Perhaps it depends on the insurance company and coverage. I don't improvise you have to be on the title in order to be covered by insurance
