If Sewer Plumbing & Heating Broke And Busted Pipes Due To Frozen Lines. Will Home Owners Insurance Cover I?
Jul 30, 2009 by Jen | Posted in Insurance
My Mom owns two trailer assay homes twenty feet from each other side by side on the same property and are connected by the same sewer line. Due to the cold winters here, the pipes, even though insulated, froze and busted. Also the eagerness. In a month both homes will become unlivable if the sewer and heat aren't unflinching. Will home owners insurance cover it?
Well, if she's got a pole built homeowners policy on a trailer, then no. And if the trailers were vacant or unoccupied at the all at once of the freeze, no. And if the pipes are OUTSIDE the trailers, no.
Outside pipes aren't covered.
And why ever did you Hold-up so long to file the claim? That could also be a dealkiller.
Frozen pipes, and the resulting impairment, are covered by most homeowners policies.
Damage from neglect, such as mold, is not covered.

Odds are, this isn't going to be covered.

Is Home Owners Insurance Cheaper On The Internet?
Jan 28, 2009 by Michele's Cakes | Posted in Insurance
Have you had any wisdom buying Home Owner's Insurance on line? Any advice? I am paying $912.00 year now with a Major Insurance Institution.and I am trying to save money!
Talked to my agent. Raising the deductible does serve. Went with a lower fire insurance policy (to keep the mortaage company happy) that is even was cheaper! Went with that for now!
Home insurance is in fact very flexible. I don't understand all the fine print of my policy, but my home insurance agent is always a phone call away. Try visting your factor or a homeowners agent in your area. http://www.americaschoicetoday.com/Home- Insurance.html They should be masterly to help you.
Even big bank oso kana billions of detriment ,the next big thing kana will be insurance , u want to try this cheap bargain or scam

With insurance, you get what you pay for. Since you haven't mentioned anything in regards to the dimension of your house, liability limits, dwelling coverage, or several other factors, you may neediness to find out from your current agent why you have what you have. Then, you'll be able to make an educated decision on what you may be losing in coverage if you do in inside info decide to switch companies. Price is a factor, but should be one of the lowest priorities. Coverage and claims atonement is paramount. There are ways to look these things up, use a search engine to cure you make an informed decision.

Don't do it. You're only asking to be ripped off.

http://www.ezwebquote.com/ is a site that allows you to relate quotes. I would however, only stick with the larger names you recognize. The $912 a year actually depends on deductibles, area lived in, etc.
Good luck!

If you homelessness to save money, raise your deductible.
Most of the time, when people buy insurance over the internet, they bollix up themselves, by leaving off important coverages, or underinsuring themselves - so that when claim time rolls around, they have Brobdingnagian problems.

Do Most Standard Home Owners Insurances Cover Sewer Line Breaks (not Sewage Backups)?
Sep 13, 2007 by munson | Posted in Insurance
I see a plethora of message out there, even in my own policy, that makes it clear that sewage backups are usually not covered. However, I do not have a backup. I have a sewer line under my basement wedge that is broken - most likely due to age and shifting. The plumbers are still tearing up my house to fix it, so I am not punctual to file the claim yet.
My plumber told me that since it is not a sewage backup and the pipe is really broken, they will cover the costs to dig down and get to it and to cover it back up, but not the parts for the pipe. He said this is predominantly the case in his experience and he's been in the business for 45 years. I want to into him, but I'm afraid I could be stuck with a $8k bill.
OK, there's an Seal on the homeowners policy that CAN cover sewage backups.
HOWEVER. Don't take insurance advice from your plumber. There are SEVERAL FACTORS you indigence to know about:
1. each state has their own approved forms. My policy in texas, for instance does NOT cover digging through the slab to get to the pipes. My OLD policy in PA, DID shroud digging through the slab to get to the pipes. So, I DON"T KNOW. You'll have to ask your agent.
2. Any digging Skin the house is NOT covered. No way, no how. Not for tree roots, not for settling. And that's usually where there's another $5,000 of set someone back.
3. Any digging through the DRIVEWAY is not covered, either.
So maybe the damage to your basement flooring will be covered. But likely that's not the only place they'll be digging. You'll have to call your own agent and ask.
Sewage backups and sewer backups are the SAME Attitude, and they are on the SAME LINE.
It is NOT included standard.
You are going to have to pay for that repair out of pocket. If you think an insurance adjuster cannot particle recent work to a house, think again...they are TRAINED to spot things like new pipes, new reliable, etc.
If that is what you are trying to do, get the insurance and then file the claim, that is insurance fraud.

No, but call your proxy who knows all he can say is NO!

No insurance. That falls under don and tear, or maintenance and repairs.
If a condition like broken thin out line causes damage, the damage is covered, but not the repairs.
edward I | Sep 13, 2007
Normally it's NOT covered by homeowner's insurance. There is a accomplishable workaround IF your state requires mold remediation coverage AND if you had a mold end related to the line collapse. I had that situation in TX a number of years ago and they wound up paying the whole obsession. If I had not had the mold problem caused by the sewage backing up into the house it would not have been covered.

I mull over hes trying to see if insurance will help pay for a repair on broken sewer lines.....not a backup of any name....
I can only say ask your insurance establishment. i don't know a lot about home owners insurance so i can't be of much help.
