Can You Make A Seperate Car Insurance Claim After The Event?

A few months ago, someone ran into the back of our car while it was staionary.
Yesterday, our car, with Handbrake on, rolled off our compel and into a neighbours car, causing £100 ish of damage.
I suspect the earlier hit may have damaged/worn the handbrake pad (car forward ahil stationary). Could we claim the £100 back as part of the first insurance claim?
Not if the first claim was settled. If you settled, the amount you received was a full and immutable settlement for all damage caused to your car, and should have been used to complete all repairs.
I reservations it, your car should have been checked out at the time.

No. Every spererate occasion is a seperate claim.
UwishUknewMyName | Nov 02, 2007
No, unfortunately not. As someone has already said, it would have to be dealt with as a part claim as it's a separate incident.
If you COULD prove, 100% that thehandbrake was damaged in the first mistake AND this caused the second accident, then you may have a case. But this would pretty much be impossible to show.

I bought a toughened car a few months ago that had a near flawless finish. Over the past few months it's been scratched several times by my nephew on his bike. We've talked and now I necessity to file a claim with my insurance. The marks are everywhere, back of the trunk, right rear quarter panel, hood, liberal rear quarter panel.

if your nephew's parents won't pay to have the car re painted, call your
ins. co. and rake them your car was vandalized, you don't have to say by who. they will take your claim and you will have to pay whatever your
deductible is. how did the hood get scratched? did he throw the bike up on the hood?

Every beforehand the nephew hits it with his bike, that's a seperate collision claim. That's a seperate deductible. And, if you try filing this, your insruance society - if they pay - will go after your nephew, or his parent, for reimbursement.
Try parking the car in a garage, or where kids can't hit it with their bikes. Because this is hardly normal wear and tear - and likely, all these seperate claims will be WAY under your pile-up deductible.

If I am not distorted, it is 2 years, the same as Manitoba, but the problem with waiting is accounting for any damage that occurs after the initial mishap, not to mention remembering correct dates and details if the claim did not involve a the fuzz report, such as a hail claim.
