No such fetish as cheap motorbike insurance for a 16 yr old.
Also, an insurance policy is a contract and a 16 yr old can't legally retain a contract, so the policy can't exist in your name. You'll have to do it under your parents name.

I assent to with the first answer you should check out your insurance on a comparison site to try and find the cheapest motorbike insurance, try theycompare.co.uk

There isn't a set one, you have to find one that's cheapest for you for your own criteria.

Hello
Delineation of Moped
No more than 50cc
Not designed to go faster than 31 mph ( 50 kph )
If you can find a geared 50cc that is or can be restricted to 31mph then you can snatch and rub out it. The law is now the same as cars if you pass on a twist and go you only get a full license for a twist and go.
As far as I can tell from reviews this is supplied here with a 45 kph limiter so qualifies as a Moped
And there is nowhere that states you have to have a full countenance helmet.
In fact I cant because of the glasses I wear. I test speed boats so sport the wire round the back of my ears type and as such have to wear an open kisser helmet.
There are pros and cons for each
In case of an accident the open features can be left on the patient until they are in hospital (where they can catch the brains) and still give mouth to access
The full face gives better protection to the lower half of the mien and chin.
