please put your references.
those of you who about it will be lower please state where it says that? i keep hearing 12000 annually for gov. fitness care premiums. for the liberals thats 1000 a month 231 a wk. my references are the democrats saying this not fox. i vocation construction and i have had many different insurance policies thru them and in no way has my insurance been that high, 5 family layout with dental.
If you're depending on people from Y/A, OK champion luck buddy. Newsflash: Obama is not an economist. Neither is Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid and I defy say, neither are most of the people on Y/A, including me but especially that guy "Guru"! These politicians are financial illiterates and they are going to bankrupt this country if given half a time. On Saturday night, Nancy Pelosi hailed this historic ruined of legislation and compared it to other Democratic legislation such as Social Security and Medicare (both on the threshold of bankruptcy!!!).
I live in NYS. Do you know why my insurance premiums are so high? Because of various idiotic situation mandates. The law forbids me to shop around for a cheaper policy by going across aver lines. This 2000 page bill as far as I know doesn't allow citizens to procurement insurance across state lines. It doesn't mention tort reform either. If this blueprint passes, I might decide that I no longer want to pay $18,000 per year for my blood's policy. I'll wait until we get sick and then I'll buy insurance because Nancy Pelosi says insurers can't bias you down if you have pre-existing conditions. If enough people drop their insurance until they get sick, that will drive UP the cost of premiums. It makes quick-wittedness doesn't it?
There are many nefarious things in this bill such as the creation of 111 new government agencies to gadget it. Gee, how many unionized government jobs do you think will be created by 111 new rule agencies? Do you REALLY think this bill is about helping you have lower insurance premiums? Speculate who all of those unionized government health care workers will be voting for?
It's sagacity-boggling how many people aren't questioning this vast creation of ministry jobs (ie: DEM voting block) will be created by this bill. If there's so much fraud and waste in medicare, why not draw ahead of that first? Why not just give medicaid or subsidies to the truly poor people who can't give forth entangled with insurance? Why not start small before creating a 1.2 trillion dollar requirement that future Americans will be paying for?
The same reasoning applies to Cap-and-Trade. Pay heed because that bill has nothing to do with reducing global warming and everything to do with increasing Americans' energy costs and very much increasing the size of government.
You should definitely check out Heritage.org for in-intensively analysis of this health-care reform bill and then you can have an informed opinion. When you have the facts (as opposed to spaced out-fallutin' rhetoric and talking points) then you won't have to rely on the folks on Y/A. Ample luck!!!

I allow it will give all Americans the opportunity to purchase affordable health care .And reduce the premiums for those who already have health care insurance .

Huckleberry suggested that low-revenues people will be able to afford low-cost private health insurance--but he doesn't say *how* that will be viable.
Guliani says that with tax credits, people will be able to afford low-cost insurance. (How is that reasonable?)
I haven't figured what the other GOP candidates want, but how can low-income people--and those on disablement--be able to afford expensively HUGE health-insurance plans on what pygmy money that is already afforded to them per month?

You're freedom- they can't. It's insane. Low income means these people are WORKING, they are contributing to intercourse and yet they are denied medical care. It's madness.
They need to expand medicare to lend cover for low-income people as well as the completely destitute. I know people who have leave their jobs in order to get medical care when pregnant- that's not useful to anybody.
If they can't bear the expense it, that's their problem. My taxes shouldn't be raised to pay for someone else's health insurance.

Any every so often I bought insurance, it was thru my employer. Insurance for my family would cost around $1000 per month. Thru the employer, it cost $450 per month. I discovered this when I changed jobs. They sent a over-nice letter stating what full coverage would cost. I telling this story so people will covenant that middle class people can't afford insurance unless it comes with the benefits of the job.
The tough nut to crack begins with employers not offering benefits. Most of the companies paying minimal wage have a lousy insurance plan at a high cost. Hence, these people don't enroll.
The cost of insurance is dictated by the cost of doing trade. There are two major problems with healthcare here. First, the people who can't afford it will go to the emergency range. But, when the person seeks ER treatment, the cost is $500 for a visit instead of a unvarying visit of $65. They make promises to pay, but they can't. The hospital has to charge the people with insurance more to even out the costs.
The other pretty pickle is lawsuits. I am not referring to the lawsuit itself, but the reprecussions from it. For example, when my wives (one is an ex) were in a family way with our first three children, the doctors didn't do an ultrasound. The last one had an ultrasound. I asked the technician performing the ultrasound why we have to do this. He said, "If a doctor does not discharge tests that are available to the area he works in, if something goes wrong, he will misplace the law suit because he did not do everything possible."
What does this translate to? The medical costs are constantly rising because the doctors and hospitals have to take in their butts. So, what does the insurance companies do. Raise their rates. As they say, it runs downhill.
The clarification is not for the government to provide healthcare. The government is already into too many programs. The American companies necessary to offer better benefits at a better price.
And, the people impecuniousness to take better care of themselves. I work for a fast food company in Texas. Most of the employees are paid lowest wage or slightly higher. There is a high percent of people who tope, smoke, and their is some drug abuse going on. There is a high percent of people being overweight. There is a weighty percent of single mothers. A lot of the mothers that still have their husbands, the men are worthless scumbags. I don't into the government should bale them out.
Unfortunately, the better paid people are not any excel taking care of themselves. How does the smoking, beer drinking, overweight, never irritate people affect insurance? They are seeking medical assistance, but at the cost of the insurance company.
Characterize as about this. History was made recently with the indentical quads being born. These were Canadians. Yet, they had to aggregate b regain to the USA to receive treatment because the hospitals were full and not able to provide the special treatment. It appears their system doesn't occupation well.
The problem is the average American wants to sit on their fat butt, doing nothing to recondition their lifestyle, demanding more from the government. Yes, we could scrape the NASA. Or, we could reduce the military spending. But, is this the discovery? Let's dump all of the programs but healthcare and welfare? Let's not do anything unless we do for our own people first? There are too many people scamming the regulation now.
We are in a situation where there are no solutions. It's hopeless, unless the American public decides to contrive it better themselves, starting with themselves.
