You want to visit a local independent agent that works with all the major companies. The go-between can work with you to find the best plan for your situation and budget.
You said you have medical issues. Depending upon what those issues are you may have a tough nut to crack finding a company that will accept you. If they do, there will be waivers, riders, or waiting periods before the presence will cover those issues. This is why you need an agent. The agent can talk with the underwriters from the discrete companies to find out what the possible underwriting decision may be.
There is no one best health insurance company. The A- company for you is the company you want to go with. Nobody here can tell you which company is best for you because we don't be aware you or your health issues.

Well, seeing as how you already have force wrong with you, anyone who will take you. You'll probably pay more, and it's possible depending on what's wrong with you, that no one will take you AT ALL. If they do, they can refuse to smokescreen the stuff that's already wrong with you.
That's the deal with private insurance - they aren't REQUIRED to take you.
Talk to a townsperson agent to get quotes.

their premiums will not go down, but their services will. You will also be allowed to only buy policies that the oversight approves of, meaning your current policy will probably not fall within the regulations of the new bill. So you will constraint a different policy, possibly have to change doctors, and all the stuff you did not desire to do, and if for some reason you would want to drop your coverage, you would not be able to. As the bill does not accord for an increase in competition there is no way to control the out of control costs, you will most likely have to extend to pay higher out of pocket costs, or go without services.
