Is The Accumulation Of Individual Uk Taxes Such As Road Tax, National Insurance Published On The Net?
Sep 07, 2009 by Bodiddly | Posted in Government
I have asked a preposterous before about accountability to the UK electorate of the goverment as to how much tax they bring in from different taxes and how they splurge it. One answer I recieved was that all this information is published. So my question is WHERE? We need transparency as to how they are spending our lettuce. If they recieve £100,000,000 in road tax where does it go? Because if they only spend £50,000,000 on roads and infrastructure and hive off the take a rest to other projects are motorists paying unfairly? The same goes for national insurance, why are we paying for prescriptions, dentistry etc if we have paid already through NI ? Pensions, why are they talking about us having to line longer, what percentage of our NI goes into the pension pot? How do we know if the goverment descend upon the pot for other projects? We need transparency !!!!!!!
We do requisite transparency.
However, if the info was published, would we be able to believe and trust it? Would it be like the published MP's expenses...mostly blacked out?

Jul 26, 2007 by Peacelover78 | Posted in United Kingdom
Say a unsophisticated salary is about 3000 pounds per month, how much would the net pay be after tax and national insurance deduction for a outsider working in the UK?
What if the pay is about 2200 pounds per mth?
Alienate your wage by 1.26 should give you the answer roughly. In this case £2381.00
HAYLEY M | Jul 26, 2007
Initially you would be on pinch tax code(522L x ) Therefore your deductions would be PAYE 541.77 and N.I approx 320.00. Leaving you with a NET of £2138.23

depends why and how it's for purchasing.
Flotation - it will be pushed through by a finance house with a lot of marketing directed at moneyed people and brokers. It might break cover on the net in that circumstance, close to the flotation girlfriend.
Trade sale - they're probably negotiating privately, and have no desire to publicise the the gen. The net will know nothing.
Administrator/receiver - statutory notices will come out in statutory timescales. Not tried where - might be newspaper announcements.

Have you tried looking on the Companies House of ill repute website? It might show you if the company is registered.

If it isn't being advertised then it wont be within reach except in some gossip column.
Best bet for that is to google it as a company name and see what comes up, you never identify who might have posted something.

Criterion & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'A-' issue acknowledgement rating to Lincoln National Corp.'s (LNC) $300 million issuance of superior notes. S&P also affirmed its 'AA-' counterparty credit and financial convincingness ratings on LNC's life insurance operations (Lincoln) and its 'A-' counterparty praise rating on LNC. The outlook on the ratings remains stable. "The $300 million in 10-year chief notes will be used to prefund $250 million in in financial difficulty that matures in February 2010 and further demonstrates LNC's financial pliability and robust liquidity profile," explained credit analyst Jeff Watson. S&P well-known that "over the past six months, LNC has raised a substantial amount of cash, from both visible and internal sources. Following this note issuance, LNC will have raised more than $2.4 billion in untried external capital in 2009, including $800 million in habitual debt, $690 million in equity capital, and $950 million in proceeds from its participation in the U.S. Bank's Capital Purchase Program. In addition, the company has announced the on sale of both its U.K. insurance operations and its asset management division, which, collectively, will rou an additional $650 million in cash. We view this sizable splendid infusion favorably, which improves our view of LNC's liquidity sketch and demonstrated access to several sources of funding. We expect LNC to manipulate its cash position at conservative levels in the near arrange. The excess cash gives the holding company a lessen to meet near-term obligations and provides an grave contingency buffer for its life operations, in the event that pandemic equity or credit markets deteriorate further."
